What has been concluded thus far from all the available data:
-A stock ZL1 on stock rubber has yet to break the 12-second barrier.
-Despite its sophisticated suspension/dampeners, wheel hop is still present on the drag strip
-The car makes more than enough power to achieve a sub-12 second 1/4 mile time on stock rubber given optimal track conditions/driver.
-Anyone who actually races a 580HP car at the drag strip on stock rubber has a death-wish or obviously has no experience on such a track.
-Times achieved on one track cannot be assumed to be realistic for every track throughout the country.
