My Low range light comes on with around 40 miles range left. My low fuel light comes on about 5 miles after that. I usually drive 20 miles AFTER the low range light comes on. My Camaro rarely takes 17 gallons even then. I always run my Camaro as low as I feel is safe. It's a company car and they pay for one tank of gas a week so I might as well get the most of it.
