I know I'd be pissed if I backed out of my garage and the passenger mirror snapped off because I was 1/4 inch too far to the right. I do that about once a year when my wife has the truck parked too far to the center of the driveway for me to back out, but the mirror just folds the other way so I just get out and correct. It's an unlikely occurrence but still.

I don't think any monte carlo has had folding mirrors. Or at the very least mine doesn't. And I don't think the 4th gens did either, but I could be wrong.
