How stupid does he think we are!

Reading between the lines, this is what I am hearing:

"What exactly is your problem--a clash or grind, complete blockage from a gear, etc? When does the problem occur--is it engine speed or vehicle speed related? Under what conditions--hot or cold ambient temperatures, vehicle temperatures, etc?" (Give me some detailed info so I can find things to blame it on). "Have you made any modifications to the vehicle--FYI, even "un-related" changes like a throttle body swap can make a difference!" (A throttle body swap is making your trans grind). "What manual equipped vehicles have you owned or driven for an extended period before?" (You don't know how to drive your car). "As performance minded enthusiasts like yourselves, we want to see you all get what you pay for and be happy at the end of the day." (Tremec is certainly happy, they got their money).

"However, please consider that if you have an issue with the speakers in your new Cadillac, who do you call, Bose or your Cadillac dealer?". Correct, but I would want to believe that a respectable company like Bose would at the very least want to make things right to protect their reputation and not hide behind a middle man. But then again, maybe Bose and Tremec have opposing corporate philosophies.
