I have learned the folks that buy special edition cars ie-anniversary editions, signature series editions think that they will be collectible cars and that they should keep the miles down on them so that they can boost the value up somewhere down the road.

Have a 45th Anniversary camaro here. I got it Sept. 9th and will hit 4k miles this weekend. I decided that I wasn't going to garage it.

As many have said already, I bought the car to drive it. That doesn't mean I won't try to keep it looking nice, but I just can't justify that kind of money for something that sits in my garage.

The car is for me to enjoy, not just to look at but also to feel.

I have family that kind of goes overboard on collectibles in general and I think that's helped my opinion about using what I buy. It turned me off from storing something for potential future value based on seeing how they reacted to and treated things.
