That's in-line with what my dealer said last week... and although I don't agree with it, I'm not surprised.
When UCF and Heinz started this thread, all was right with the world (so to speak). But as TPW's were handed out and not built when they were "targeted", people freaked out. And IMO for a while there it looked REALLY bad (on the outside looking in) for GM, I would have done the same thing if the info available made people angrier and made me look bad.
A month ago I couldn't help but think what the Mustang lurkers must have been thinking reading this thread, laughing at GM etc. Just bad publicity IMO.
I never got a chance to thank you both for all the hard work 
I know it must be frustrating to not be able to finish it:(:(
