Are you guys really serious with those kinds of questions? All the Camaro enthusiasts combined will not buy as many Gen5's as a rental car company will with one big check. GM needs as much money as it can get, quickly, so delivering cars to the rental companies before joe-average-buyer gets theirs makes perfect sense. Yeah, it's frustrating, but as Spock put it, "the needs of the MANY outweigh the needs of the few or the one".
