"Black panther" or "panther" is a term for any melanistic big cat, regardless of species. "Melanism" is like the opposite of "albinism" -- it's when a creature is born with black fur, instead of with the regular coloration of its species.
In Africa or Asia, "panther" usually refers to melanistic leopards. Leopards mostly eat hoofed animals (in Africa: antelope, especially impala & gazelles; in Asia: chitals, muntjacs, ibex) and monkeys. Sometimes they eat rodents, reptiles, amphibians, birds and fish.
In North America, it refers to melanistic cougars. 68% of a Cougar's diet is hoofed mammals, such as mule deer, white-tailed deer, elk and even moose. Part of the reason they went with Camaro is also the french origins of the word, the "buddy" or "pal" reference and Chev at that time was big on giving cars a name that started with "C". I see it's already been covered, just read the posts but whatever lol. I would be on the Factory ZL1 far before even thinking of this. If it was a GM factory build absolutely. Not from SLP though, Id rather put 30K into my 1SS and have an absolute killer car than something someone else builds with a false promise of it being a huge collectors item or something.
