I think the stock master DOES flow enought to disengage the clutch fully when shifting. Under hard shifting conditions (power shifting at the track), the hydraulic system can use a high flow master. IMHO, I think the Camaro's design of the clutch hydraulics and the shifter was very poor. To top it off, the blocker/1-2 synchro design is not much better.

If you look at the new ZL1 Camaro TR6060, they have redesigned the shifter location and bolts directly to the internal shifter shaft.

Why would GM/Tremec have revised 2nd gear blocker ring? Why the redesign of the shifter location/mounting?
