I think the plan will be to do batting on the garage walls, then use foam to envelope the upstairs in. The downstairs will rarely be heated, so cheaper insulation will be sufficient, then the upstairs will be done with the good stuff. |
start recycling newspaper. shred it and stuff it down the walls. it will be cold for the first few weeks/months, but spring and summer is just around the corner. set up a deal with newspapers or schools to collect their recyclable paper. then shred it and stuff the walls for cheap.
then there's also adding the reflective film as well.
