I look at the car now and it is pristine but the value is probalby around $15k. For this car to start to appreciate in value it will need to stay in this condition for another 15 years or so. I just really don't care about that 15 yrs from now. In hindsight I should have driven it more and enjoyed it more over the years. The Camaro 5th gen will certainly be built in fairly large quantities. It doesen't matter to me much what this car will be worth in 30 years. I plan to enjoy it to it's fullest extent now and when it is worn I will replace or rebuild it to enjoy again. If a Z28 comes around I will do the same with it. No matter what I drive I will take care of it so it is always like new.
Thats similar to the point I was making when I quoted my client. And I never understood when people buy these "fancy cars", have them for years and don't put any miles on them. Damn that I'm putting miles on that joker. My thing is cars can be replaced but you only once. Now there are acceptions to the rules of course. I mean if you have a custom Hot Rod I wouldn't expect anyone to drive that everyday all day. But Vettes, Camaros, Mustangs, basically any car built in the 90s should be driven to the damn wheels fall off. And thats what I plan on doing with mine.
