These guys are great compared to some of the forums I have seen. On some, all you have to do is sneeze at the wrong time to get banned. They give third and fourth warnings here and try everything they can before they do that here.
Thanks guys for all Yall do. There are people here that appreciate it

We appreciate the kind words.
And I'd like to clear up some misconceptions, if I may.
First, sometimes we are in a rush. We see the post that's in violation and take care of it. We might put off finishing the thread for later to catch the quoted posts which contain the post in violation. We intend to go back, but might not get it right away. It happens. This one....should be....taken care of.
Yes, we try to read the entire thread.
No, we don't like threads like these. Are we going to censor them all? No. Why? We aren't moderator nazi's. We try to be open and let people talk....vent....and venting is okay. ....as long as it's done in the right way. It's when people start LEO bashing that we have to start jumping in...and that's work. Furthermore, if someone posts something against site rules and another person comes along and says, "hey. don't do that, you'll get in trouble" and you see that, feel free to edit your post to avoid issue. What we don't see, we don't enforce.
On a side note, did the police make the law? No. The states legislators made the laws. Police enforce them. If there's someone to be upset at for a law they don't like, take it up with the state legislators....not the officer who is doing his job.
...and two more things....
Some states have some messed up laws... In TX, you can't be cited for these types of things unless the vehicle is in motion with a driver. NO vehicle violations can be written while the car is on the street driverless. Not going to happen. I am floored by some of the laws and things I hear. A ticket for not front plate while it's parked??? Huh??? Seriously??? wow... (respectfully disagreeing).
Also, if I recall correctly in this thread, police should never have been brought up since it was a city code enforcer who wrote the citation.
We don't mind these threads. Unfortunately, not everyone can discuss on the same level. The one or two persons who take it a bit further start that snowball effect and that's what we end up having to clean up. Guys, if you see something that doesn't "belong," let that person know they should edit their post. If it can't be taken care of, report it...let us handle it...you know. We want everyone to get along and that's the reason behind site rules. Oh, and yes....we have probably over a hundred active LEO's on the site who love the car and the people and want nothing more than to enjoy it with you all. So, like the old saying goes, "can't we all just get along??"
