its very very easy.
1.open your glovebox
2.theres a wire on the right, pull it down and twist until it comes undone (can be a little tricky
3.push in the sides of the glovebox, and pull the entire glovebox out
4. above the where the glovebox was, theres a black panel with 5 torx (size15 torx) screws, unscrew those.
5. now you will see a silver box, that is it. unblug the maroon antenna wire, and thats it. No more communication to the onstar module
