i just did mine and i have a manual transmission. I pulled the starter and found a hole in the flywheel they drilled for balancing the flywheel. just so happens my air chisel bit fit perfect and snug in the hole. I turned the flywheel and made sure I had a firm resting spot on the bell housing. Or if you have a trusted friend to hold a adequate flat tip screw driver will work also. also I've seen others use vise grips in such a way, so that the lower part of the v of the jaws captures a tooth and clamped in place. This only works if you can capture a tooth, because the jaws them self will not hold it. I have headers so this wasn't an option. not enough room. or you can buy the tool. but the parts stores don't carry them from my experience. dealer item or kent moore I assume. I did see another manufacture selling them too.
