I am 55 and after owning "family cars" for many years I bought my 2000 SS vert 9 years ago and have had a great time with it and the Camaro community ever since. I have made some great freinds, been to some great events, had some great races at the track (and broke a few parts doing it), and get a thrill when I wind through the gears and when kids yell "nice car" as I cruise by.
Good old American muscle is part of our culture and has been a big part of many of our lives. The fact that it is still around for us to experience and enjoy in a car like this is a real "gift" (thanks to Scott and the team) and one which I don't plan to pass up.
I am so looking forward to getting a convertible when they come out and in the meantime I am having fun seeing the joy of the new owners here as they pick up their cars.
When you can no longer drive at all - that's when you're too old to drive a Camaro - you may still want to buy one though and just look at it in the garage!
