If you are traveling at these speeds and expect not to be fixing your car, I think you definately are going to be bummed out. GM has tested these cars at high speeds I assure you, and to act like GM is the only one to release a car to find there is a issue after the fact. Well you have been very misinformed. Yes GM should look into this, but let's stop being unrealistic. You play you pay and that is rule of thumb with fast cars. The responses in this post are over the top. Find me a any model that did not have issues the 1st year, there always is! And to say that GM should have found this before release as if the testing they did was not substancial enough to find flaws, gimme a break. There is constructive critisism, and there is just plain old bitchin, and bitchin is alot of what I see in this thread. If it keeps happening and GM does nothing then by all means bitch, but until then you need to be realistic in your demands!

Sorry but I disagree.
Doing 155mph should not cause any damage to the car.
As mentioned early, I've gone over 150mph many times in my last 6 vehicles I've owned (stage 4 WRX, stage 2 STi, 94z28, 99z28, 05 GTO, 06 GTO) and I've never had any issues or damage.
The Camaro SS should be able to hit 155mph on a regular basis without any damage to the car.
