BTW, the difference in a 1LT and a base SS is around $6700.00 so not sure where you're getting that $15k from unless you're talking about the percieved loss he takes.

you hit the nail on the head... it has nothing to do with the stock 100hp, it has to do with the aftermarket possibilities
I dont think a V6 is going to be able to pull up next to a z06 and actually have a good chance to beat it... just my .02
