I stopped by my local dealer
www.phillipschevy.com and took a spin in their demo car. I ordered a 2SS so I knew it wasn't going to be as fast as one. I haven't even driven an SS camaro yet so I was pretty excited just to get behind the wheel. I took her down a few local roads and got on it pretty hard. MAN DOES THAT CAR MOVE! I owned a 2000 V6 camaro a long time ago and what a difference in this new one. It rode well, had plenty of power and the exhaust note was excellent.
Only problem area I noticed was visibility. It was a bit tough to see behind you and when changing lanes. Oh well, not that big a deal really.
The best thing was the looks it got. I got so many thumbs ups, smiles, waves, nods, it was crazy. Definitely felt like a rockstar. Mad props to all the people at GM and Chevy who made this happen. It was worth the wait.
