Mine was when I saw the leaked photo of the half-and-half clay model. I honestly wasn't too impressed by it, and I could see why GM was so upset that it got out.

Even when the official photos got out just ahead of the 06 Detroit Auto Show, I still needed some convincing. Something about the first few media photos was just off. I think it was the angles they used.

Then a few days later, I went down and saw it in person. I was stunned at how good it looked in person. Where the Challenger was a huge, chunky boat, this car was sharp and sculpted. The Camaro had spent its hiatus working out, getting ready not just to compete again, but to WIN.

Seeing the convertible and later Bumblebee just floored me all over again. The stripes and the colors on those two cars really show off the shape of the car so much better than the silver does.
