The only Benefit I can conclude from what little I know of it..... is that you can gain the same peak power or more as if you did the LS3 conversion but with VVT you can keep a higher power band (or gain) through the RPM's unlike if you did the LS3 conversion. Thus why they say you keep low end power and also gain at the top... as where LS3 you gain at the top end.

I'll just go with whatever my Install is more comfortable doing. Thought TSP seems to make it very simple for the install/tuner.
