Front-Rear-Side...BITE is always a good thing! And, of course (no pun), Pedders Bites Best!

Number 3, in an adavanced driving course I took many moons' ago, I was instructed to achieve the shortest straightest panic stops (ABS or otherwise), ALWAYS put your vehicle in Neutral...even in an Automatic...as it frees up drivetrain inertia. Again...PANIC stops.

Some/most of you may recall the days of RWD and fast-idle carbureted engines, and may recall seeing front wheels "clamped" with the brakes on FULL...and the REAR WHEELS continuing to move the car forward, sliding through icy intersections 'n such...
