Those that pre-orderd were mis-lead. Deposits should have been fully refundable if problems/delays arise, with the priority option of buying dealer allocated cars @ MSRP.
Early customers should have had these options(#s taken into account as part of production/marketing strategy by GM). I know it's too late now, but GM should at least show some appreciation(how about a commemorative "birth certificate") or some kind of discount/upgrade, although it may do lilttle to ease the pain of waiting...
