As far as shorties to longtubes .. really depends on what you want to do. Shorties will be able to support a LOT of hp to begin with (probably the stock manifolds will too). Longtubes will give you a little more but then you also have the hassel of passing inspection etc .. all in all if you aren't going to make this a track car, I say don't waste the money on shorties or longtubes ... do the rest of your exhaust and then do your other work. I plan on going with an catted xpipe / catback and some sort of Forced induction .. maybe magnacharger ...
