Can suck my ass.
they zip tied the driveshaft to the u-joint on the rear end of the 86 camaro when they "installed" the trans. on top of that, they didnt even put any fluid into the converter or trans after the install.... probably because they didnt install the fluid lines or the trans cooler.... on top of that, (according to Marcus) they charged 600 bucks for this install, didnt give a reciept of the services, and said they had to get "extra parts" from LKQ (local junk yard across the road). come to find out, they didnt install the shifter linkage bracket. and they never bolted the trans mount to the cross member.
back story:
Josh was out of the state for a few weeks and our so called "friend" (Marcus) offered to tow the car to get the trans installed. I and Josh told Marcus to just take the car to the shop that built the trans as plans were to have them install it from the beginning. A few days later the car is parked back on base with mine and the trans is installed. I should have checked the rest out after we saw that they didnt install the fluid lines. the trans is working great, tho I/we do plan on bringing the car into you to adjust the TV cable.
the good thing is that Josh was only rolling about 3mph when the driveshaft let go.
I pulled the car out originally, and was circling the parking lot and gave it a little gas and it started clanking, Josh went to pull it into a spot to check things out and it let go as he was parking it.
(side note.... Marcus told me back when he had his manual 240SX that he wanted to put a 3500 stall converter in it. retard.)
