I saw a picture of the X-gasket in a Black Icesolator install pic posted by Tracy.
I wondered why they took the cover off. I left mine in place and I remember feeling the resistance when the bolts passed thru the grommet.
Fortunately, I guess all mine stayed in place. I can't find that thread now...But its out there somewhere.
