This same thing happened when the Mustang GT came out, then again when the GT500 arrived and then again when the Challenger came out. The only difference is that they already went through their early production/shortage issues and now sell for retail or below. Six months from now no one will get a premium but this is the game that all too many stealers, oops dealers play. Gm/Ford/Dodge can't or won't do anything about it so it's time to get over that. In my mind it's all about me from this point forward. I will no longer get emotional about buying this car. I will get what I want at the price I want within an acceptable timeframe. I no longer care about codes or anything to do with the order process. All of that crap will just drive me crazy.
I'm just a happy camper from this point forward.
