wether or not the salesman is there anymore doesnt matter, most courts recognize that if the person was in anyway recognized by the dealership as an agent on their behalf, the signed deal is a "binding contract" between you and the entity that the sales person was acting as agent for, so the dealership. If you want the car bad enough you take a copy to the owner, show it to him, give him a reasonable amount of time to respond (24 to 48 hrs). Tell him that if you do not hear from him that you will be taking legal action. Beleive me, he knows the law on contracts and agents, he willl tell you to come get your car as agreed. I do not know what you will gain by a suit because you havent suffered ant monitary damage and it is diffcult in a case like this to prove personel and pshycological damage. Unless this puts you over the edge! At the most the court will force him to live up to the deal agreed upon.
So again, I say, do it only if you still want "this" car ! You do have legal right here to get your contract completed !
