Not sure how 3 year warranty has expired, you should still have a few days left on it since they didn't start production until March 16th 2009. Mine was manufactured in June '09 so I have just a little bit left on mine as I only have 7k miles.

Must be it, I believe it was 3year 30k ? 32k? something around there.
