I noticed in your vids you had an '11 GT that ran 13.6 at 107 stock, whats up with that, should have been 12.3's at 114?
Who guts their car when going to the track? Nobody I know unless they want to dump a bunch of weight, run a number and then leave out the fact. Kind of like you let on in your first post.

I did have an '11 and took it out in the hottest part of the summer to make some baseline runs. Bone stock as it drove off of the lot. No traction tends to have an impact on the times along with Summer temps. You will also notice I took that car into the mid 11's with bolt-on's in Summer temps. 11.63@118 in ~2,500' DA to be exact.
The 11.88 pass was made with the tune being the only power adder. The rest of the drivetrain was bone stock down to the cats, mufflers and 3.15 gear. Again, the car is far from "gutted" as you imply. We are talking a daily driver. It had less than 1K miles at the time of said pass.
The 11.3x passes were made on the same evening. The only power mods done compared to the 11.88 pass were a Pypes full exhaust and I did test a CAI on the car to compare to the stock airbox which netted almost nothing. The 11.31 pass was with the stock airbox.
Everything else done to the car were supporting mods such as the converter, 3.31 gear, rear control arms, driveshaft loop, and aluminum D/S. Not a bit of it has any impact on it being a DD.
I will only be adding weight to it moving forward with items such as a roll bar, trans blanket, c-clip eliminators, etc. It will be legal to run on any IHRA/NHRA track meeting all the safety rules.
You are right about the combo. I research and spend my money carefully.
I have yet to max out all the bolt-ons. Next up will be the Boss intake and shooting for 10's N/A all running 93 octane Shell pump gas.

Typical Mustang fanboy and troll....I would, of course run you, but the outcome, duhhhhh, kinda seems inevitable, but not everyone could figure that out. But, I'll bet there are some other C5 guys who would take you up on that challenge as well and show you a thing or two. My post was only intended to show the OP that not all Mustangs run low 12s and 11s and that there are some who can't get into the 12s. You, of course, want him to believe it's the easiest thiing in the world for a 5.0 to run 11s. Ok...NP, all it takes is money. 55 Chevys have been running 11s for 40 years...so what does that prove???

.....as my point was that there are also 5.0's out there running much better times vs. what you imply they run. Sure there are 5th gen Camaro's that are quicker/faster than me but they have way more mods done to include everything from heads, cam, intake, power adders and as much weight removal as possible.
BTW - I am running a 3.31 rear gear as was posted earlier, not a 3.73 as you imply.
Regarding getting a new 5.0 in the 11's....the auto's are much easier to do vs. the manual trans cars as you saw with my car however it takes far less to get there vs. the 5th gen. Camaro. <--------I know I use to own a 2010 1SS.
Anywho, I wasn't posting to troll or incite but to clear the air on the Mustang side. There are many mis-perceptions out there.
