changed my pan gasket today, 2 hours, but i cut the brace under the pan and made it bolt in now so if i ever need to do anything with the pan off it will be very easy.

the original gasket that came rivited to my pan when i built my engine was gray and very squishy(soft) the replacement GM gasket is black and uses a firmer rubber, i also used some Anaerobic Sealer on the metal portion of the gasket for a little more security against leakage
