That's understandable. However, the Camaro is in such high demand right now that dealers are better off not offering test drives. This isn't a FAIL, it's common sense.

However, if a test drive is the ONLY thing stopping you from buying the car then most dealers would give you the test drive...if you're really serious about buying the car. That's how it should be with any car. The OP would have had a test drive if he seriously wanted to buy the car instead of just a free joyride. If he'll be ready to buy the car in a year, then he should go in for a test drive in a year.

If you're advocating that dealers should offer joyrides to non-serious customers than we'd have even more dealerships going out of business than we do now. Everytime you take a car out on the road it loses its value and wastes a salesman's time.
