And as for SAE ratings and not being underrated. What about the Challenger? Isn't that also an SAE engine. This is the 392 vs a camaro from Inside line. I know you say their numbers are high, but the camaro looks to be around 360-370, which is typically what you see for a LS3. The 450 of the challenger seems high for the 470 hp rating, but I believe Henessey dynoed a stock 392 and it laid down like 420 rwhp. 420 rwhp would be a drivetrain loss of 11%. Are the Challengers also just more efficient? How so? I believe they run IRS like the camaro
I'm lead to believe the NAG1 (5-speed auto) is really efficent.... Look at the 6.1 also. Most put down on average in the 360's stock, close to what a LS3 would put down.
