I am not sure how old you are, but it has not been that long (30 years front wheel started to come into existence) since almost all cars were rear wheel drive. How did we get along? We drove our cars. We learned what to do and what direction to turn the wheel when we hydroplaned or started sliding. Most of the time we were successful and some times not. We got good at driving our cars.
Today, many people are lazy, and do not know there vehicles. They can drive them daily, but if something were to happen they would not know how to drive it. They use technology while driving, and have no regard for their own safety yet alone someone elses.
I want the C&C package, I like heated leather (live in northern Va). I will take the 2SS in the snow to a parking lot to learn how to drive a rear wheel car again. Just as I did when I started driving in all my rear wheel cars (74 malibu classic, 77 Nova, 78 Z28, 74 Mercury Montego SW...dads). I wont have this car as a daily driver, but when I do drive it the technology will benefit me.
I am getting a 2SS w/RS, and I will enjoy directing the car towards a crowd and turning on the light to show how BAD A^S the car is. It is tough. Those who do not get the RS will have a mean looking car also, just not the added UMPH! IMO...
I look forward to you getting your car. Enjoy it knowing you got what you wanted, and when you see others respect their decisions to drive their cars the way they saw fit. Good luck getting your car quickly. I look forward to seeing pictures when you get it.
