That 436 hp rating comes from the optional exhaust that you can get on the standard C6 Vette. It sounds rather tame during regular acceleration but under WOT the pressue makes butterfly plates flip and making the Vette sound more aggressive. Forgive me if you already knew that, I figured I'd just put that out there!
