couldn't agree more, check the manifold gaskets as well.. if the dex cool coolant been in the car too long what could have happend is it became acid like, therefore eating away the gaskets to the manifold and head gasket, causing the car to over heat. I suggest starting from the radiator and go through all the way to the heads.. Check the oil and the oil input arm (whatever you pour the oil into) if you see milky like stuff along the walls its more of an issue with the motor than just the gasket, not worth rebuild imo unless body and trans is beautiful..
