We all know the Mustang is almost as fast straight line and better at handling, but all the regular people want to hear about is HP and how much it has. Ford will have to raise it up a notch next year in the HP department, and they will, making the '10 Mustang not a great purchase in my opinion.

It's
rumored that the Coyote engine will bring the mustang back to its 5.0 roots. Guess we will wait and see. Also the ecoboost v6 twin turbo is rumored to be a option as well. Another wait and see.
Though the updates are supposed to happen, the 2010 is still a great deal. A track pack 2010 performs very very well. And since its still the same engine a billet, a F/I kit will put you at HP you need to be competitive with anything out there.
In the end, a GT is still lighter than a SS or Challenger. So even going F/I, a mustang can still compete simply because its lighter. You can only be as fast as your pockets are deep anyway...
