I have sat in the IO interior. I do not think it is too much. I think it looks pretty nice. You do not notice it unless you are getting in or out of the vehicle. It blends very well. You notice the stripe, but not the whole interior. When I was sitting there the focus was more on all the other components, and the interior just looked great.
I am in the GEEZER club, and feel this will be the interior of choice in the future for resale value if I ever look to sell it. Plus, if it became to much for me I could replace the orange trim on dash with black. It would match well with the interior.
