i ordered a 2ss last monday 5/4 and just spent a week hoping my car is here by august.. so i stopped by today on my way home from work and was interested to see if GM accepted my order.. aka moved to the 2000 event code.
the salesman went into the managers office and came out about 5 minutes later and said that the manager would know tomorrow and he would call me. (ok didnt really care im not expecting anything for a while anyway)
well here is the question i have for he masters here.
when he told me that i asked him if there was anyone else ahead of me that has placed their order and didnt get accepted yet. he said "no and actually we just changed one of our showroom orders to a sold order and put in your options" is this something that he can do and will this help me out in getting my car faster? or is he just blowing hot air up my ass and my order is prob behind 10 other peoples orders?
i think im gonna give him a week or two and then call the 800 number and put some pressure on them.
he has been great to me so far and did call me back other tiems he said he was going too.
