I got the stock spoiler on my ls before there was a lot of variety. I only drilled 4 holes to hold it in place and its extremely sturdy. What i did was open the trunk lid and locate 4 rubber "plugs". I then removed them and drilled a hole in each one centered in that area. I then attached it and done.
