I think I can answer that: I saw some TV show a few days ago about street racers. Showed cops trying to bust the boy racers, the vast majority of whom were running ricers with giant tailpipes... anyway, one of the task force cops said that people who hang things--- anything--- under the trailer hitch area are using a "secret" signal to let others know that they are willing participants for a street race. Sure enough, nearly every single car shown in the episode had something or another dangling under there... and, now, as I drive around, I see the profile- types nearly all have a lil' sumpin' sumpin dangling beneath.
I doubt that the dirty F-350 with duallies and a bull sack hanging under there is road race ready... that guy's just a farmer who figured it was funny. But... dollars to donuts, any car with a dangly and a male driver under 40 is ready to go light to light.
BTW... duallies are for heavy loads... lots use them for big trailers. The next logical step is a fifth wheel plate in place of the rear window and trunk. I will be eagerly anticipating pics of that, when ya git 'er done!
