From personal experience, I have to agree with Dragoneye on this one. Unless you can do all the work yourself, it will cost you 20K to take your SS to the ZL1's overall package and you will not have the PTM: the convenience of turning a knob inside your car to change it ride/handling on the fly. The costs of buying individual parts versus a built on the factory ass'y line can't be matched. It will always cost you more to buy parts separately and have it installed.

These are things I already have on mine: Maggie, coilovers, bushings, swaybars, exhaust, coldair, conservative tune, GFX, body parts and aerodynamics parts...

and the things I still need: beefed up rear end and axles..., better transmission, forged wheels and bigger tires, better brakes, L99 to LS3 conversion and a cam...

By the time I have all of these things done, It would costs me just about the same as a new ZL1. Why would I do this? Because I will not part with my ABM and I am getting a car that was setup just for ME the way I want it. Furthermore, I have been enjoying MY Camaro for over 2 years and didn't have to wait for it...
