Six o'clock on Friday evening, mama doesn't know she's leavin',
till she hears the screen door slammin',
rubber squeelin', gears a-jamming.
Local country station just a-blarin' on the radio,
pick 'im up at seven an' they're heading for the rodeo,
mama's on the front porch screamin' out a warning,
girl you better get your red head back in bed before mornin'!!!
