I should be betting my ZL1 next week and one of the first things I will do is get an Escort 9500ci radar detector hard wired in. I have had several of these and they are the best thing - but in some previous installation, I have wished i could have changed some locations after a little experience - so I am starting this thread with hope of some feedback from some who may have already done this or for those who do later. Specific questions:
1. Where did you have the display mounted and are you pleased.
2. Where did you put the interface buttons and again do you like that location
3. How did you mount the laser shifters in the front (and do you have a front license plate installed or not)

Any pictures will be greatly appreciated.

AMMEND - I started this with the wrong detector listed, I am actually looking for info on the 9500CI - which is permanent mount, not the ci which is a windshield detector
