Because a huge group of 5th gen guys have never owned a muscle car before or drag raced! When I say the camaro is faster I mean the car, not the driver... its always a drivers race, slower cars can beat faster cars because of better driving. The 6.1 srt8 is an awesome car, but its a hair slower then the SS. Thats not new news, the srt8 was behind the camaro and mustang and needed the 392, now they have the edge on both. But who cares, my car stayed stock for 5 min
There are plenty of modded srt's that will wipe the floor with my a$$, but stock for stock it is the slower car.
