Although that statement might be truthful, there is a small percentage of beater owners who go out of their way to find a nice car carefully parked in an isolated area of the parking lot.
Parking away from others in a lot conveys a message that the owner of the car is concerned about damage and appearance.
Sociopaths who drive beaters get their jollies and intense satisfaction to fuk-up your car with a nice door crease.
Basically there is no place to safely leave your car.
