Ebay charges a flat insertion fee of between $.10 to $4 depending on the starting price and a final value fee of 8.75% of the closing price on the normal Ebay.com (the percentage decreases as the final costs go up maxing out at 1.5% for over $1,000). Due to the amounts cars can go for, this would lead to final value fees being up into the thousands if they did a percentage so they did a flat listing fee if you sell the car but it only applies to the first 4 cars you sell in a 1 year period.
