Well I have a few days on the ZL now and I can say that I am very impressed. I am becoming more comfortable driving it. I am a pick up truck guy and this is sort of a new adventure for me so I am not going to tell everyone how I can run 10,s or pull G's or anything like that...... At least not yet but I can share some experience. First I will say that the car rides way better than i thought it would and clearly it has gobs of power.
There has been talk about interiour noise or drone? It does not have this. However, on really rough roads the car does resinate the road noise pretty bad. I compare this to my BMW which is incredibly quiet inside.
While I have not really pushed the car as far as cornering goes i will say that it is the best steering car i have ever driven. It is stuck to the road.
I went to Vegas and back from PHX yesterday and ran a good portion in excess of 110mph (I know, 80mph for 1500, I just can't follow directions) The air works great the stereo is good, the seats are very good even for a big guy (6-4 300lbs) I re-set the fuel/trip meter coming home and averaged 18 mpg running about half the trip with the cruise on. I was going pretty hard in some places so i think if you tried you could easily get 20mpg if it matters to you. The tank on the car could stand to be a couple gallons bigger but it's doable. range is about 260 or so. that's all for now. Good job Chevy.
