Elaborate a little on your process "Washing" is such a broad term and subject to so much interpretation. Unless you're following a good process it doesn't matter one bit how "careful" you are, bad technique is bad technique.

Are you spending time with a decent amount of water pressure rinsing before soaping?
Are you making sure to use separate tools and cleaners for the wheels and paint?
Are you using a high quality soap with lots of lubricity?
Are you using high quality wash media?
Are you working top down and segmenting the car with separate wash pads/mitts?
Are you performing a 2 bucket wash with grit gaurds?
What are you using to dry?
Are you using a drying agent to reduce the chances of swirling?
