Wow.. This is more significant than meets the eye... with your VIN#, your car should have had a production date a few days prior to 5/5, or maybe even the day before.... if your car is rolling, then that means there's hope for all of the SS cars that were made leading up to the recall date.... maybe they didn't fall into Area 51 en masse like everyone thinks... on the other hand, your dealer might not have bothered to check further, assuming that "once it's built, it'll ship".....
