My truck seems to do better on some tanks than it does on others. It may be the gas you are putting in. I also notice that my AFM seems to be a little more aggressive in kicking in when the weather isn't so cold.
Sometimes it rarely switches to 4 cylinder mode and other times it's in it for 75% of the drive. Just my 2 cents...
